Introducing our latest creation: The Umami Explosion Pizza. This innovative pie features a black garlic base, topped with truffle-infused mushrooms, caramelized onions, and a sprinkle of nutritional yeast for an extra savory punch.
The inspiration came from our research into umami-rich ingredients and how they can elevate the pizza experience. Black garlic, with its sweet and complex flavor profile, provides a unique alternative to traditional tomato sauce.
"We wanted to create something that would appeal to adventurous eaters while still honoring pizza traditions," says Chef Antonio Russo, who developed the recipe. "The result is a pizza that's deeply satisfying and unlike anything else."
The Umami Explosion Pizza will be featured at our upcoming tasting events, and the recipe will be shared with members in next month's newsletter. We're also working on variations that incorporate other umami-rich ingredients like miso, aged parmesan, and fermented vegetables.
