Welcome to Our Newest Board Member

The Pizza Institute is thrilled to announce the addition of Chef Maria Rossi to our board of directors. With over 20 years of experience in Neapolitan pizza making, Chef Rossi brings a wealth of traditional knowledge and innovative ideas to our organization.

Chef Rossi began her career in Naples, training under master pizzaiolo Giuseppe Esposito at the legendary L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele. She later opened her own pizzeria in Rome, which quickly earned recognition for its authentic Neapolitan-style pies and creative seasonal specials.

"I'm honored to join the Pizza Institute and contribute to its mission of advancing pizza culture," says Chef Rossi. "There's so much we can learn from both tradition and innovation, and I look forward to working with this incredible team."

As a board member, Chef Rossi will focus on educational programs, helping to develop curriculum for our workshops and masterclasses. She'll also serve as a judge at our annual pizza competitions and contribute to our research initiatives on dough fermentation and ingredient sourcing.
